XA Score is designed to enhance awareness, drive connection, and improve performance. This page walks you through exactly how to get started and use the system effectively.
STEP 1: Download the App
Search "XA Score" in the App Store or Google Play Store and download it to your phone.
STEP 2: Log In
Your username is the email address used for registration. In many cases, this may be a parent email, but if your coach has provided your personal email, use that instead.
Tip: We recommend using the athlete's personal email for future ownership and accountability. Parents, you may help set up the account but please allow your athlete to take the lead.
STEP 3: Set Your Password
Create a password you'll remember. You won’t need to log in every day, but keep this handy.
STEP 4: Daily Check-In
Each day, press the "Daily" from the home screen and submit your Daily Check-in by the assigned time. You’ll answer 3 quick questions and report your sleep times:
This takes under 10 seconds. Responses stay private between you and your coach, but they fuel real-time feedback and readiness scoring.
STEP 5: Understand Your Scores
Your "XA Score" (located on the home screen) reflects how consistently you complete check-ins on time, and scores your weight consistency (if reporting weight).
From your Reports, you also see a Sleep Score and Readiness Score, which grow smarter with consistent use. These scores help build discipline, routine, and awareness over time.
Check-ins are required Monday through Friday at a time agreed upon by your coaches. You have a 3-hour window to complete, as these are scored for doing so On Time. Remember, there is a difference between being 10 minutes early and 10 seconds early. We score that difference.
On Saturday and Sunday, check-ins are typically due by 12:00 PM noon, but are not scored for on time. That said, consistent daily check in habits are important!
Your athlete’s development extends beyond skill and technique. XA Score bridges communication gaps and creates better coaching moments by giving coaches visibility into your athlete’s readiness, wellness, and sleep.

XA Score is often the first time a coach hears, "I haven't slept well," or "I'm not mentally locked in." Especially from certain athletes who want to be tough. These check-ins are simple but powerful. They're about preventing injuries, reducing burnout, and creating better support for your athlete.
The best on the plant doing what you do, are intentional about their sleep, recovery, nutrition, and hydration. XA Score is now part of your daily process to build a lifelong foundation in these areas.
